Microsoft Releases Windows 10 October 2018 Update Build 17760

Microsoft has released Windows 10 build 17760 to insiders in the Fast ring, and this is quite a big step towards the RTM build that everyone is waiting for.

Build 17760 is a preview of the upcoming October 2018 Update, also known as Redstone 5 or version 1809, and it’s likely one of the last releases before Microsoft signs off the RTM.

Microsoft is projected to finalize the development of Windows 10 October 2018 Update sometime in mid-September, and insiders are likely to get the final build later this month.

While it’s too early to tell whether build 17760 is an RTM candidate or not, it’s definitely a step towards this stage of development, and the lack of known issues shows that stability is reaching a production ring level.

Microsoft Edge improvements
