Social Security Numbers, PII Stolen in NorthBay Healthcare Data Breach

NorthBay Healthcare Corporation suffered a data breach incident which affected the information of everyone who applied for a position within the organization between December 2012 and May 2018.

As described in the data breach notice template filed with the Office of the Attorney General of the State of California's Department of Justice, NorthBay Healthcare Corporation was informed by Jobscience Inc on October 3 that an unauthorized individual accessed NorthBay's applicant information.

Jobscience Inc is "a contracted vendor that provides NorthBay with online employment application management system services," according to NorthBay's data breach notice (PDF).

As detailed by Jobscience Inc's report, during the data breach incident the first and last names, home addresses, dates of birth, email addresses, Social Security numbers, or alien registration numbers may have been stolen by the bad.
