NVIDIA Makes Available Vulkan GeForce Graphics Driver 398.91

NVIDIA has announced the availability of a new version of its Vulkan GeForce Graphics driver, namely the 398.91 build (24.21.13.9891), which add support for VK_NV_device_diagnostic_checkpoints extension, as well as a few bug fixes regarding certain known issues.

Specifically speaking, the current release resolves occasional problems that occurred after a clear in multisample rendering or during a mode switch while fullscreen, and corrects a few other minor driver and SPIR-V compiler bugs.

In terms of compatibility, the 398.91 release consists of two downloadable packages suitable for the 64-bit architectures of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 operating systems. Also, there is also a 396.51.02 package available that implements the same changes for Linux platforms.
