Microsoft has recently announced that more than half of commercial PCs are now running Windows 10, but a recent survey from WinMagic paints a different picture regarding the adoption of the operating system in the enterprise.
No less than 23 percent of the organizations said they aren’t yet ready to upgrade their computers to Windows 10, while 30 percent of the IT pros don’t even know when support for older versions of Windows would come to an end.
As a reminder for everyone, including for these IT pros, Windows 7 will reach the end of support in January 2020, after which no other security patches would be shipped. Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 will remain the only two supported Windows versions.
